I am drinking hot cocoa right now! So I wrote this!!!
Little marshmallows bobbing up and down
A pool of sweet chocolaty brown
Creamy, sweet and filled with delight
I hope for more of this wondrous might
I sip and sip till it's all gone from my cup
I frown and then I stand up
I search around for a packet of more
And to my surprise I find packets galore
There goes my frown, boredom and blues
And now cheers for chocolate from me to yous!

A Secret For Two: My Response
Eternal Friendship
Those of us, who have experienced true friendship, know the necessary parts of making friendship whole. "A Secret for Two" is about a friendship between a man and his horse that are joined together with an eternal and strong bond. It's also about kindness, love, and sacrifice. These three things are important components for friendship. Especially, in this case, an eternal friendship.
When Pierre dies, his death proves that dying may not always be depressing, unexpected, or unpleasant. This was one of my favorite parts; there was something that made me excited for a moment. How could someone be so attached to their horse, their best friend, that to be together that person could give up his or her life? This made a strong imprint that death may not always be something to grieve. Death, in this case, showed a life of eternal friendship. Pierre's death is a very interesting point in the story. It gave me second opinions on passing away, that's why I thought that this part was one of the best parts throughout the story.
My other favorite part was when the doctor reveals that Pierre had been blind, not for a short amount of time, but for five full years. This was surprising; I had been intrigued by the point that Joseph wore his hat low enough to cover his eyes and that he boasted blind men could cover his route with Joseph, but never thought he could have been blind for so long. Still this was not the part that got me thinking, what really made me think was that Pierre could have quit his job when he went blind. Surprisingly, he kept going to work to be with his friend. He had been able to see for over 25 years of his job, but his last five years of being a milkman, was while he was blind. He knew he couldn't ever see Joseph one way or another ever again, but still he came to work just for Joseph.
Pierre depended a lot on Joseph. Without him, Pierre would be unable to do his job. He could not read or write. Luckily he was able to get away with this. The cooks instead of following the usual custom of leaving a note in an empty bottle if an additional quart of milk was needed they would sing out when they heard the rumble of his wagon wheels over the cobbled stones of Prince Edward Street. Also Pierre had a remarkable memory. When he arrived at the stable he’d always remember to tell Jacques if people had changed their orders. Jacques would note these things in a little book he always carried. Most of the drivers had to make out the weekly bills and collect the money, but Jacques, liking Pierre, had always excused him from this task. So Pierre was lucky because of Joseph who meant everything to him. Without him he'd be nothing. For Pierre, Joseph, his best friend, was his world.
I wish the story had ended differently. Even though the end was unique, if I had written it there would be a few things I would slightly tweak. Instead of quickly going through Pierre's death, his death should have been more detailed. By more detailed I don’t mean how he looked after he gets hit by the truck, but rather feelings. It seemed as though the author rushed through the death of Pierre; things should have slowed down. A few minor differences could stir-up a whole lot of excitement. I think the ending should have consisted of Pierre's feelings as he walked across the cobbled streets, some flashbacks that had been mentioned or memories from the first few times Pierre drove Joseph. Also, strong memories of their friendship could have been displayed. The author should have set us up for the ending, given better reasons why Pierre was ready to give up his life for a horse. A strong connection and bond should have been pointed out right before the supposedly coincidental death. The sentence stating the death should have been something with a truck loudly roaring towards Pierre and then Pierre's grief all ending. After these changes had been made, the signs of love that the author displayed could be included and then the story could have followed its original ending.
True, the story was great, but what I regretted after reading this to the end, was that this story wasn't that realistic. This story takes place in the past and no longer can be related to the present. These days no one knows the true meaning of friendship. People in the present think that once some person has been your friend for a few months, you're best friends. But, I know that's not true. I also have From moving so much and having so many friends that I thought were true and never would forget me, I now realize that they may never had been close friends with me. After a while we ended up losing contact. Meanwhile, my sister found herself a best friend for life. She still receives phone calls and party invites from her friends of her past. That's like Pierre and Joseph, but stronger, even after death they remained true friends. The continued their friendship not until death, but even after it.
"A Secret for Two" really shows the importance of friendship. After reading this we should all realize keeping a friend close is a good idea. A friend could be everything in some ones life. Friendship could even someone’s life and world. You know what they say "A flower my garden, a friend my world." A friend is something we all need, something we need at all times.

Animal Farm Mandatory Response
After reading Animal Farm to chapter four, I have come up with a few conclusions. They are about the characters, my prediction, and a summary about the additude of the pigs.
Animal farm is all about power and wealth. In the book, think of the animals as 'poor working people'. And think of the humans in the book as 'rich powerful people' (the owners of property, money, power etc).
After the worker's revolution on Manor Farm, the pigs begin as normal animals, (still poor workers) but they become the leaders on the new Animal Farm and the advantages of power changes them. Little by little they are beginning to change from animal to human (like from poor to wealthy.)
They so far have separated themselves from the other animals and have moved into the farmhouse. I think later in the book they will betray their animal comrades and adopt a human lifestyle. By the end of the book, while the normal animals are cold and hungry, they may start wearing clothes, sleep in beds, become fat and learn to walk on two legs. At the very end of the book they may have dinner with humans at the farm's dinnertable and the pigs and humans look the same. The pigs may adopt to human lifestyle. In other words the pigs may completely change from animals (poor workers) to humans (rich owners).
Since Animal Farm resembles the Russian Revolution, every character has their place in real life. Here are a few. I think that some of the pigs like Napoleon, Squealer, and Snowball represet the leaders Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin. Specifically Snowball is Trotsky, Napoleon is Lenin, and Squealer is Stalin. Also, some other characters I have catogorized are Moses the raven. I think Moses represents Rasputin. Another character I'm sure about is Old Major, I think he represents Karl Marx. The farmer, his wife, and the farm's workers all represent the royal family of the time of the revolt. The last few mentioned characters, I have noticed, are skilled laborers or pheasents. Since there reallly is no character guide, I'm no sure about all of these but these are the few characters I know about.
These are a few things I have picked up from how much I have read of Animal Farm. As you may have noticed Animal Farm resembles the Russian Revolution in a satire form. I hope you have enjoyed the information I put together. Thank You.

Blog Block
Does anyone know why exactly some people put blocks on their blogs? I'd like to know those people exist out there. I get it some schools want blogs to be private, or someone wants only their friends to know, but why would people do that?If you have knews or have talent share it with the world! That's what I do!

Blame
Inspiration this time comes from the point I just got in trouble because of something I didn't do. That ever happened to you. And again it was due to my sister. I know who actually did it, and it was NAWT ME! Like telling you that is going to help, I didn't even tell you what's wrong. Anyway, ENJOY!

A little situation,
A big, big problem
A few words spoken
A tall-tale made
No beginning found
No end to be seen
No reason why
And the blame's on me
A little flame
Turns into a forest fire
A light drizzle
Turns into a storm
World whizzing by
None see me
I'm waiting to be heard
While the blame's on me
Waiting and sitting
Moment by moment
People passing by
None glance towards me
I make a frown
My world's upside-down
All point with glee
They point out the blame's on me
Why me?
I had no involvement
I just stood so quiet
I did nothing
I had been looking at my feet
Seen no evil
Far from doing any
So why, oh why is the blame on me?

Disappointing Dance
If you read this poem, then you will understand why I wrote this. And sorry to those who thought I was coming. :P
I've planned ahead, ahead for tonight
I know what I'm doing with all my might
I plan to dance, twirl, and sing
Flash around like a diamond ring
I see my future broad, and bright
I know my plans, not wrong, but right
I know for sure what I'm going to do
I know all plans for me and you
I skip right up with hopes in my heart
To let the grown-ups play their part
They look at me then start to frown
My hopes are shrinking, they are going down
Brave up to the thought
Let them have all I've got
I talk to make their choices change
Or at least to put the in a good to great range
But nonetheless, my efforts fail
And I may just part or begin to wail
My plans all crash, come tumbling down
And now I'm the one who starts to frown
I turn away, look at my feet
Go to my room and take a seat
My plans vanish, for now I can't prance
Hopes are gone, since I'm not going to the dance
So that means I'm not going to the Valentine's Day dance. Sorry again. I'm going up north.

Someone Special
My inspiration for this came from my sister. Who has been talking about her crush for the last two hours and won't zip-it! This stuff is mushy but, whatevs! Might as well deal with it. (A few minuets later)Does anyone have crazy glue or duct tape at hand?!!! I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS!!!!!
A single glance in their direction and you couldn't pull your eyes away
Someone special walks your way
Fireworks go off in your heart
Your stomach jitters
You dare not part
You freeze on the spot
Then see a grin from the special someone who has made their way in
Happy as you can be you smile back
Worrying if you look like a laugh
The next thing you know you're face to face
And your face burns
And your heart starts to race
All you could ask for is there that second
Then they leave, and to yourself you grin
This is because, in your heart, someone special has made it in

Questions?
I don't really have reason to have "Questions" at a topic. I just felt like doing this.
When you read this answer the questions asked. It's pretty weird, but I'm toe-dally BORED! And this is not a poem.
When you read this answer the questions asked. It's pretty weird, but I'm toe-dally BORED! And this is not a poem.
Have you ever just wanted to know something so badly that you just asked?
Ever asked at the wrong time?
At the wrong place?
Did you ever ask something some one got the wrong impression on?
Did you clear it up then?
Did you ask some one that you shouldn't have asked?
Near some one who shouldn't know (like asked your best friend if you had a chance with your crush in front of your 'rents)?
Have you ever made a wrong point by a question?
Teachers say asking questions are good, right?
No questions are "stupid" or "dumb," right?
Asking questions never lead you wrong, right?
After reading this do you still agree?

What is Love?
I heard a song and it sparked my imagination to write this poem/transilation thing.
What is love?
Love is like water rippiling at the slightest movement.
It is danger, at the simpilist mistake it backstabs you.
It is what happens when you hold out your heart in one hand.
A stranger who comes and steals it away.
Then you fall deep into a change.
Deep into love.
What is love?
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
The Super Bowl was first played on January 15, 1967, as part of a merger agreement between the NFL (National Football League) and AFL (American Football League). After a merger in 1970, each league became a "conference" and the game is now played between conference champions to determine the overall championship. The winning team receives the Vince Lomardi Trophy, named after the coach of the Green Bay Packers, who won the first two Super Bowl games and 3 of the 5 preceding NFL championships (1961, 1962, and 1965).
The day on which the Super Bowl is played, is now considered a de facto American national holiday - called Super Bowl Sunday. The broadcast of the football game is the most watched American television broadcast and boasts the most expensive commercial airtime of the year. Exclusive television broadcast rights for the Super Bowl rotate each year among 4 major American television networks: CBS, FOX, ABC and NBC. Because of the high viewership and commerical expense, watching and discussing the broadcast's commericals have become a significant part of the event.
Super Bowl games are numbered by using roman numerals. Super Bowl III was the first game to be numbered.
In 2010, Super Bowl XLIV was played by the American Football Conference (AFC) champion - Indianapolis Colts and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion - New Orleans Saints to determine the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2009 season.
And now the Super Bowl has come around again! This time played between the Packers and Steelers!
Who will win??? Watch it live on Sunday at 9:30 to find out who wins!

Dreams of Eternal Peace
I actually was extremely bored when I wrote this. The whole classroom was quite, and then I glanced at Courtney's book "Peace like a River." I had already read some of your blogs and found stories. I decided to mix it up and write a poem. Courtney's book gave me an idea to write like a poem about peace.
Peace takes its flight like an endless ribbon
Peace takes its flight like an endless ribbon
streaming out towards a
horizon of dreams.
Let dreams transcend into eternal peace,
uniting mankind forever,
one memorable day!
And let this day continue for as long as our lives,
and let peace continue even after our times.
Then it shall remain as eternal peace.

Maybelline
Mr.Johnson was talking about poems with meanings behind them. I decided to write a poem that had a meaning. My parents constantly tell me to find answer to my question than waiting for one. So, I did a poem on a girl named Maybelline that would never look for answers. The poem is weird since it's my first poem but it's not that bad!:D
Maybelline, Maybelline, the young girl Maybelline
Maybelline, Maybelline, the young girl Maybelline
She waited and sat for an answer to come
She roamed the woods, valleys, forests, and trees
Her only friends were the flowers and bees
She sat and sat, she walked and walked, waited and waited for an answer to come
Never did she care to go find answer
Wasted her life faster and faster
Soon her back was crooked and bent
For her answer, sat but never went
Then she left, her body all old
Never did she find success
This is the story of Maybelline as we've been told

High Above
I'm holding by breath as I peek over the ledge of the feriss-wheel's seat. My view is amazing. The fresh air blows in my face. The world below seems no more that little insects crawling in dirt. I wonder if the world always is like this. I realize how much I have not seen. I look at the girl seated next to me. I smile and she smiles back as the wheel turns us closer to solid ground. But the ride is not over yet. Once again we start our way back up. My instincts make me clutch the railings tight, feeling the cool metal makes me calm down and relax from the heat on this hot summer day. The air freely blows my hair around. I feel like a free spirit having know worries in life. Then the wheel turns once more and comes to a stop. The ride is over but, I still remember the thrill of being free. I knew that today would be a day to remember.
